We recently invited Bronwin Welcome, a front-end developer at Equal Experts in South Africa, to share her experience of working with Equal Experts. As a front-end developer, Bronwin is involved in designing, developing and testing applications for our customers.
This month marks two years since Bronwin joined Equal Experts. Here are three things she wants to share about her experience:
Innovation with purpose
First, Bronwin says that Equal Experts is a company that lives by its values, and the work she does is always focused on delivering a great user experience and addressing business needs for customers. “At Equal Experts we never do things just for the sake of doing them. It’s always about working together with your team to add value to the client,” she says.
A community of equals
While some organisations have strict hierarchies, Bronwin has found working at Equal Experts to be very different. “It’s amazing to be part of a community where we are treated as adults, and I love working at Equal Experts. This is a company that lives by its values. Values such as we both emphasise and show respect really speak to me.”
Continuous learning and development
“At Equal Experts, we’re passionate about learning over knowing,” says Bronwin. “I love that I never feel like I’m the smartest person in the room. We’re always learning from each other.”
