Since it opened in 2015, most of our delivery work in the Equal Experts Lisbon office has been done remotely. It’s been such a success that we’re now looking further afield to expand our network.

We’ve long taken a positive approach to flexible working and it’s been hugely positive. As the amount of remote working with our US and European clients has increased, many of our people in Lisbon have started working from home more frequently. Now, on an average day, we’ll have about half of the team working in the office, with the other half joining remotely.

The key thing is, this hasn’t affected productivity – so after a few very successful remote projects, we’re now planning to expand this approach by expanding our recruitment efforts to hire more European technology practitioners into the Equal Experts network.

Our focus is on destinations within a short flight from sunny Lisbon, so remote workers can still easily hop on a plane and work alongside colleagues and clients as and when required.

Meet us in Greece!

Our first initiative to expand our European network will be at Voxxed Days in Athens, on June 7-8th. The Equal Experts team (including one of our associates who works remotely) will be there to answer questions and discuss various options for working with us – so do come and meet us at the Equal Experts booth if you’re heading along!
