Delivering a new Direct Investment Option integration with CareSuper in three months

CareSuper’s Direct Investment Option (DIO) platform allows engaged members to manage their superannuation investments independently, a highly valued service for highly engaged members. When the DIO platform provider announced it was discontinuing the service, CareSuper faced a significant challenge: integrate with a new DIO provider, deliver a quality service offering and ensure minimal service disruption for members.

In just three months, we helped CareSuper:

  • Deliver a new application with a long-lasting self-healing workflow to ensure all systems remain in sync without manual input.
  • Introduce automated approval testing, allowing for fast feedback and regression testing.
  • Ensure all 1,100+ CareSuper members with a DIO account were successfully migrated to the new system without issue.
  • Upskill in how to deliver modern, resilient features and applications in Azure within CareSuper, supporting upskilling within the development team.
