Global ideas and conversations at the Equal Experts 2025 Über Co-Working and G[=]K talks Day

Wondering what you missed at the Equal Experts 2025 Über Co-working Day and G[=]K conference? It was jam packed with big ideas, bold conversations and 450 brilliant EE people.

More than 450 EE folks came together in London last week for our biggest Über Co-working Day and G[=]K talks to date – and what a day it was!

It wasn’t just the stunning river views from County Hall that amazed us. It was also the incredible buzz of hundreds of network members from around the world connecting (and reconnecting) and sharing ideas.

From early morning through to the closing keynote, the atmosphere was incredible. People from across the network came together for a day full of energy, ideas and collaboration. Our employees, associates and alumni were joined by several of our customers, making this a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and strengthen the relationships that are so important to what we do.

There wasn’t a spare chair in sight, and the conversation was non-stop. Alongside co-working, guests attended the G[=]K Day conference, with a packed agenda of technical talks and workshops developed by the network for the network.

We kicked off with Dave Sammut’s take on spotting and resolving issues, followed by a brilliant group session from Shaun Dicker, Dan Prokopiwskyi, and Guillaume Belrose on how engineering principles can improve reporting. It was standing room only when Phil Parker took us through AI in software delivery, and it was also a full house for Purvi Keny’s session on improving QA with AI.

The momentum didn’t stop after lunch, with Wesley Reisz exploring AI-assisted delivery, Caitlin Woods diving into rules-based frameworks, and Harsha Shivanna sharing amazing ideas around Vibe coding.

To finish up a packed programme, Munish Malik shared tips on delivering product management in an AI world, and Scott Cutts shared powerful lessons from two real-world EE data mesh transformations.

The day’s grand finale saw returning crowd favourite Dave Farley deliver a fascinating keynote presentation. Dave had the room hanging on every word as he championed test-driven development as the secret weapon for AI-powered software engineering, saying: “Every software developer in the world is wrestling with the same questions about AI software development. And Acceptance Test Driven Development addresses the three biggest ones: concise language, outcome verification and incremental development.”
